Icanhascheezburger , Failblog,Pictureisunrelated and 140pedia.com, forgot to mention he was going to be Friday NY Times, it was about blogger begong Arthur

An excerpt from the story from NY Times:

Ben Huh, who bought the “Cheezburger” franchise from its original owners, hopes to create a whole line of similar books. “We’re turning user-generated content into editorial content,” said Mr. Huh, who estimates that his company will generate half a million dollars in revenue from its book deals alone.

Full Story in the NY Times Here:

The Hipster Grifter

Anybody be on the lookout for
driffer
who make the indie scene look bad.

From The New York Observer

It’s likely that when Kari Ferrell walked into the Vice magazine offices in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, last month to interview for an administrative assistant job, they thought they’d hit the jackpot. Ms. Ferrell—petite, 22 years old, of Korean heritage—had a huge tattoo of a phoenix across her chest and a cute pixie haircut. She was talkative, funny, charming, adorable. She had a tattoo on her back that read “I Love Beards.” She told them she’d been working for the New York office of the concert promotion company GoldenVoice, which puts on huge rock festivals like Coachella near Palm Springs, Calif., and that she’d moved to New York from Utah just a few months earlier. They hired her on the spot.

Link to the story and yes it get a whole lot worst.

Luke and Jen Talk about the new Matthew Perry, Zac Efron movie

Luke is telling to keep you eyes on Thomas Lennon

They also talk about the merrert about
KC electronic repo

From
The Kansas City Star

With brand names On Time, PassTime and PayTeck, car disablers are wired to the ignition and typically provide motorists three or four days’ warning, with flashing lights (green to amber to red) and quickening chirps as drop-dead payment dates near.

They will not shut down a moving car, manufacturers note, but will render starters silent the morning after the warning light turns red.

For devices that include global-positioning locators, the repo man can home in on where the vehicle sits stalled.

The disabler on Shirley Baucom’s Ford Expedition enabled her to establish a credit history, said Baucum, a grocery cashier in North Kansas City: “I love it. I wish it were on everything — the refrigerator, the stove — to help people remember” when payments are due.

Her payments to the Drive Now lot are due every two weeks, and Baucom said she hasn’t missed one in the four months she’s had the vehicle.

The slow economy has spurred installations, with the buyers’ approval, to get used cars moving off lots, said Don Lavoie, chief executive officer of Sekurus Inc. It makes On Time disablers for 1,200 dealers nationwide.

Hour Three:

TBTL After Hours

And they talk about a play about 80's Music
called "Rock of Ages"

and they talk about Song get better with age.

From The NY TImes:

The champ is unquestionably “Rock of Ages,” a seriously silly, absurdly enjoyable arena-rock musical that thrashed open at the Brooks Atkinson Theater on Tuesday night in front of a bobbing sea of cigarette lighters waved aloft. The frothing piles of pleated, teased, bleached, dyed and fried tresses being tossed around in this new show about the good old days — in this case the 1980s on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles — make “Hair” look tame indeed, virtually Rogaine-ready, the Yul Brynner of musicals.

CONOVER, N.C. -- An Internet video shows two local Domino’s Pizza employees doing disgusting things to customers’ food.

They’ve been fired and Domino’s is now considering criminal charges and a civil lawsuit against them.

The video comes from a Domino’s Pizza in Conover.

"This is our special Italian Sandwich,” says a woman who calls herself “Kristy” on a YouTube video.

At the same time, the man in the video named Michael puts cheese in his nose and then on a Domino’s sandwich.

AwesomeNotAwesome:

Your business card is crap:

NOT AWESOME

if you a passing your business card
to a radio station from KIRO-FM
or a blog site

i sorry to say
Joel Bauer think your business card is carp

From Time.com:

You know what's funnier than someone calling themself an "infotainer?" An infotainer ranting about pop-up business cards. Enter Joel Bauer, creator and star of the YouTube clip, "Your Business Card is CRAP!"

"Looks like crap, it is crap," Bauer explains while holding up your average business card, one that creases, tears, and does all sorts of dreadful things that paper is wont to do. "And it's the same size as every other business card you guys just gave me!" (What guys, Bauer never says, and we won't ask, because that hair is scary). As he leans in for the pitch — "I will never make a criticism ... without offering a RE-SO-LU-TION" — things start to get weird(er). While cheesy '80s music plays in the background, Bauer proceeds to hold up what looks like a cardboard CD case. "This is the most impressive business card I've ever seen. It's mine." The card, at 4$ a pop and 25 years in the making, "doesn't fit in a Rolodex because it doesn't belong in a Rolodex.

Are you sold yet? Yeah, neither were we. Incredibly, though, this guy claims that companies from IBM to Walt Disney have paid him to drum up enthusiasm for their products. The Wall Street Journal even ran a piece (in 1998, ahem) about the pitchman's skills at addressing crowds with "just a whiff of cheerful megalomania." Sure, Bauer's probably living in a cardboard box made of $4 business cards (foil-stamped!) right now, but you have to admire the man's spirit. Or maybe just giggle at it. Because life is not about being liked. It's about being effective.

I will say Not Awesome to that
ouch.
